April is one of our most advanced horses suitable only for experienced riders. She is a perfect choice for BHS Stage 3 and 4 riders. April performs stunningly in flatwork, jumping and Cross Country. She loves hacking out, galloping in the fields and enjoys being groomed, ideally topped up with loads of fuss and attention.
Izzy

Izzy is currently returning to work after a period of box rest. She is building her strength and fitness to rejoin the riding school and enjoying quiet hacks round the bridleway. Izzy is a forward going horse suitable for advanced riders who would like to work on their flatwork.
Bluebell

Bluebell is a natural jumper, she absolutely loves jumping, particularly our Cross Country course. Bluebell has joined our riding school quite recently and she is still learning, therefore requires more advanced riders. She is a sweet natured mare, who is already becoming a favourite amongst our customers.
Dante

Dante is such a character! Born here at Gleneagles, he became an integral part of our riding school. Dante is great for riders of all abilities: beginners, novice and advanced customers. Dante is suitable for children, teenagers and small adults. He absolutely loves food and treats, catching cheeky snacks whilst hacking out but can be a little grumpy to tack up.
Ollie

Breed: Welsh Section A Pony
Ollie is a cheeky little pony with the loudest neigh on the yard. Ollie is a great lead rein pony and is often used in our tiny tot sessions and children’s beginner lessons. He loves attention and going out to graze. His best friend is a Shire livery horse – they are such a great duo!
Benny

Benny is a lovely little cob perfect for young riders and teenagers. He is suitable for all levels, often chosen by beginner and novice riders. Benny enjoys flatwork and hacking out. He doesn’t mind joining the Pony Club’s Gymkhana games from time to time.
Kimi

Colour: Bay
Breed: British Riding Pony
Everybody on the yard adores Kimi, our delightful little pony who just loves cuddles. She has the sweetest nature and helped a lot of children to build their confidence around horses. Kimi is suitable for little riders of all abilities. She is a very talented dressage pony with the most extravagant trot and also enjoys popping over a jump or two.
Babe

Breed: New Forest Pony
Babe is an ex hunting pony and a firm favourite amongst our Pony Club riders. She is forward going and really great to jump, what makes Babe a perfect choice for our Cross Country days and clinics. She is suitable for older children and teenage riders. Babe joins our beginners lessons, but is preferred by our novice and advanced riders.
Flower

Breed: Cob
Flower is one of our Rescue ponies and came to us from Blue Cross together with Fig and Tilly. After training with our staff, Flower joined the riding school and became a great all rounder suitable for children, teenagers and small adults. She may be a small cob, but she braves really big jumps.
Lottie
Height: 14hh
Colour: Skewbald
Breed: Cob
Lottie has joined us recently and after a few months of training with our staff, she was ready for her debut in the riding school. She proved to be an eager learner and quickly became a favourite amongst our staff and customers. Lottie can be a little nervous at times as being in the school is still quite a new experience, but she has a lovely nature that suits so many of our riders, including beginners, novices and those more advanced.
Marco

Breed: Connemara
Marco is one of our most popular ponies and there is a reason why! He is an amazing character adored by so many of our customers. Marco is great for beginners and novice riders practicing their flatwork and jumping in the school. This clever pony learned how to open his stable door, so he sometimes goes off exploring the yard. Marco is fun to ride out on a hack, but he can be a bit wary of strange objects.
Tilly

Breed: Cob
Tilly came to us as a Blue Cross rescue together with her friends Fig and Flower. She joined the riding school after completing her education with our staff. Tilly is a lovely, forward going pony who is absolutely bombproof when hacking out and often joins our forest rides. She is a great choice for a bit more experienced young riders or adults.
Dreamer

Breed: Welsh Section D x Thoroughbred
Dreamer is one of our most advanced horses and is suitable only for experienced riders. She has only just finished her training with our staff and joined the riding school. Dreamer is very sensitive and forward going horse, therefore requires more advanced riders. She is a very sweet natured and curious horse who adores affection and spending time with our staff.
Charlie

Breed: New Forest Pony
Charlie is a very talented showjumper. Our ‘Chase me Charlie’ champ might be a small pony, but he flies over some of the biggest jumps and courses. Charlie is a great choice for novice and advanced young riders and small adults wanting to further develop their jumping and flatwork. Charlie needs more confident riders as he can be a little nervous at times.
Romeo

Breed: Cob
Romeo is a Traditional Gypsy Cob and looks very handsome with his magnificent mane and feathers. He is a strong and sturdy horse and is often favoured by our stronger riders as he can be a bit cheeky sometimes. Romeo is suitable for novice and advanced riders and he is a good choice for adult beginners.
Hector

Breed: Welsh Section D Pony
Hector is a lovely pony who will turn his hoof to anything, what makes him a great all rounder. He is an excellent choice for a range of disciplines including flatwork, dressage and jumping. Hector has really lovely paces and performs a great extended trot ideal for dressage tests. He is suitable for beginners, novice and advanced riders.
Fig

Breed: Cob
Cobs indeed can, and Fig is the proof of that! Fig was rescued by the Blue Cross and came to us together with Tilly and Flower. After completing her training with our staff, she was ready to join the riding school and quickly became a firm favourite. Fig is a talented jumper and performs beautiful flatwork. She loves hacking out and is completely bombproof. Fig is suitable for all levels riders.
Red

Breed: Maxi Cob
Red arrived here at Gleneagles very recently and he is still finding his hoofs. He came to us over from the Isle of Wight and is currently working with our staff to join the riding school. Red is a stunning horse, but he is a rather sensitive chap, therefore will require more confident riders.
Gypsy
Height: 14.3hh
Colour: Piebald
Breed: Cob
Gypsy joined us only recently, around the same time as Red, and they quickly became friends. You might spot them together in our fields. Gypsy is currently working with our staff and already joining some of the lessons. He will hopefully become part of the Riding School very soon.
